This piece was chemically glazed in a camp fire on the beach. Gave the final look a very random and organic quality. It almost looks as if the sculpture was uncovered from Pompeii. I'm pretty happy with the pose also. The model bravely chose a very dynamic position to hold for 3 hours.

Interesting idea, using the fire and I agree, this figure does look like it came out from an excavation somewhere. Very creative.
